WV Hive Network hosts first ‘Coffee Talks’ of the year

BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) — Fruits of Labor Pizzeria and Coffee Shop was packed for the first ‘Coffee Talks’ hosted by the West Virginia Hive Network.

The event was focused on showing entrepreneurs and small business owners how to maximize buzz about their business using websites and social media.

The event featured key speakers, Brianna Duckworth, owner and CEO of GO Duck Media, and Ebony Murrell-Smith, owner of OnPath Graphics.

Judy Moore, Executive Director of the WV Hive and Deputy Director of the New River Gorge Regional Development Authority, wanted to create a comfortable environment that encouraged questions and she succeeded.

Towards the end of the event, several people had hands in the air, waiting for their chance to learn a little bit more.
