WWE Survivor Series 2023 – Match card and predictions
It's November, which can mean only one thing in the WWE: it's time for Survivor Series.
While some other pay-per-views have been shunted around the calendar over the years, every single one of the past 36 Survivor Series has been in November, and Survivor Series 2023 is no exception.

But despite being one of the "Big Four" PLEs, the reputation of Survivor Series has ebbed and wained somewhat over the years.
Low-stakes and meaningless match-ups have often undone the Survivor Series match(es), but as of last year things have been given a serious boost with all things WAR GAMES.

Yep, for the second year in a row, the main roster will host the brutal invention of Dusty Rhodes, whose multi-person, double-cage match dates back to the 1980s.
WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2023 takes place at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois (down the road from CM Punk's fiefdom in Chicago) on Saturday, November 25, 2023 with a start time of 8pm ET/5pm PT (1am on November 26 in the UK).
A one hour kick-off show starts at 7pm ET/4pm PT (Midnight in the UK).
What's the full match card and predictions for WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2023?
Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, Shotzi, and Becky Lynch vs. Damage CTRL (Bayley, Asuka, Iyo Sky, and Kairi Sane) [War Games Match]
While it doesn't have QUITE as much bad blood coursing through it as the men's war games match (see below), this two-ring war isn't that far off.
Funilly enough, much of the bad blood seems to be within the good gals' side, with Bianca, Charlotte and Becky especially having had their past altercations.
Over on the other side you've got the supposedly united front of the expanded Damage CTRL (albeit with Dakota Kai sitting this one out).
We tend to favour the established teams here (again, see below), but while Becky, Bianca and co have their issues, we feel as though there's even more bubbling under with Damage CTRL.
Out of all the pandemonium, we can see a big split in Damage CTRL, or at the very least a hostile takeover.

Seth 'Freakin' Rollins, Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn and Randy Ortojn vs The Judgment Day (Damian Priest, Finn Bálor, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, and JD McDonagh) and Drew McIntyre [War Games Match]
For the second main roster men's War Games match you've got a load of intertwining stories, massive personal issues and a load of guys looking to prove that they should be in that main event slot come WrestleMania time.
You've got the ex-Bloodline guys (Jey Uso, Sami Zayn) and their foes The Judgment Day. Youv'e got wannabe champ Cody Rhodes and ACTUAL champ Seth Rollins.
You've got ex-champ Drew McIntyre who may well join The Bloodline to get himself back on top.
It'll be utter mayhem, and predicting a winner feels almost impossible. Despite that, we'll stick our necks out and go for The Judgment Day plus Drew, as they're a team who know each other well, and seem better poised to take advantage of the crazy rules.
PREDICTION: The Judgment Day (Damian Priest, Finn Bálor, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, and JD McDonagh) and Drew McIntyre
Women's World Championship: Rhea Ripley (c) vs Zoey Stark
While the fellas of The Judgment Day are in War Games, Rhea Ripley has the not so small matter of defending her Women's World Championship against Zoey Stark.
She's never really looked at serious risk of dropping her title on this run, and to be honest we don't think that'll truly change at Survivor Series.
Stark will fancy her chances though, having come through an all-star Fatal Five-Way to earn her slot, but Rhea will have more than enough in the tank to fight off the challenge.

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Gunther (c) vs The Miz
The two greatest Intercontinental Champions of all time?
Gunther is rightly hailed as one of the all time greats, and has held on to the title for a record breaking squillion days.
But when it comes to combined reigns, The Miz is above Gunther. He's actually at number two, only 25 days off Pedro Morales.
Gunther has seemed pretty much invincible, and unlike other long-standing champs (COUGH Roman Reigns...), hasn't even needed to lean on his goons to keep hold of his title.
But all things must come to an end... even Gunther's record-breaking IC Title reign, and we think that The Miz is the man to surprise the world and do it, on the way to earning his own record.
PREDICTION: The Miz
Carlito vs Santos Escobar
Santos Escobar has now fully turned his back on his LWO brothers, and after putting Rey Mysterio on the shelf, Carlito has turned up to rep the crew against the turncoat.
Carlito will be hoping his veteran experience will take him through, but the truth is Santos Escobar has a pedigree that's almost as strong.
And with this being an especially bitter grudge match, we think Escobar's willingness to do what the other man won't will see him walk out as the winner.
