WYCKOFF, NJ — A free rabies prevention program is scheduled for Saturday in Wyckoff, township officials announced.

Scheduled for 1 to 3 p.m. at the DPW Garage, 475 W. Main St., the event will only offer vaccinations this year, but no licensing is available.

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the event will be a drive-thru this year, but masks are still required. Dogs must be leashed and cats must be in carriers, officials said.

Rabies certificates will be issued after your pet receives their vaccination.

Given the drive-thru nature of the event, the township has created an alphabetical schedule for organizational purposes.

Here's how you can find your time slot:

  • Last names beginning with A-E: 1-1:30 p.m.

  • Last names beginning with F-J: 1:30-2 p.m.

  • Last names beginning with K-M: 2-2:30 p.m.

  • Last names beginning with N-R: 2:30-3 p.m.

  • Last names beginning with S-Z: 3-3:30 p.m.
