Chris Evans, the actor who played Captain America, promised 6-year-old Bridger Walker, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, an “authentic” Captain America shield on July 15 and called the boy a hero after he saved his little sister from an attacking dog.
According to reports, Walker received about 90 stitches on his face after jumping in front of an attacking German shepherd mix that was aiming for his 4-year-old little sister. The incident happened on July 9, the report said.
“Pal, you’re a hero,” Evans said. “What you did is so brave, so selfless. Your sister is so lucky to have you as a big brother.” Walker wore a pint-size Captain America uniform as he listened. Credit: Brandon Davis via Storyful
