'X-Men,' 'Lethal Weapon' and 'Dirty Dancing': Florida Theatre bringing classic movies back this summer

Princess Buttercup is coming to Jacksonville this summer. So are Ritchie Valens, Wolverine, Baby and Mike Wazowski.

They are the stars of the Florida Theatre's Summer Movie Classics series, which gives fans a chance to watch classic movies in a classic movie palace.

The movies will be shown at 2 p.m. Sundays on the big screen at the downtown Jacksonville theater, which opened in 1927 as a silent movie house. Tickets are $10 per showing, or 10 tickets for $50.
