California Attorney General Xavier Becerra answered some probing questions from Republican lawmakers during his confirmation hearing on Tuesday (February 23).
Republican Senator Roger Marshall asked if Becerra "supported us getting back into the World Health Organization... they're not being a good friend to America or the rest of the world right now."
Xavier spoke about the importance of controlling COVID-19 not just within U.S. borders, but outside borders as well.
