Xbox Game Pass announces more free games for January 2024
Xbox has revealed the second wave of free games coming to Game Pass for the month of January.
This month has already seen the likes of Assassin's Creed Valhalla and the Resident Evil 2 remake being added to the library of games, but there is even more to come over the next few weeks.
The big game coming up is Persona 3 Reload (cloud, console, PC), a day-one release on February 2.

Atlus' long-awaited remake will allow a new generation to enjoy the cult-classic RPG, which is often praised for having one of the best stories in the franchise.
"Game Pass is a really easy way for a lot of new players to get a chance to play the game and it’s a great way for Persona to find a whole new audience that it’s kind of missed before," producer Ryota Niitsuma said (via Xbox Wire).
Digital Spy will have a review up for the game around launch.

Elsewhere, psychological horror game Those Who Remain (cloud, console, PC) is out now on Game Pass.
On January 18, Turnip Boy Robs a Bank (cloud, console, PC) and F1 23 (console, PC) arrive.
The sequel to 2021's Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion, Turnip Boy's latest top-down action adventure is a day-one release and sees the title character this time trying his hand at pulling off a daring bank heist.
Palworld (cloud, console, PC) is scheduled for January 19 and another day-one game. With survival, monster-catching, and crafting elements, the open-world adventure is filled with creatures known as Pals, which can fight for you or be sent to work in factories.
It has drawn comparisons to Pokémon, though this game has guns.
Go Mecha Ball (cloud, console, PC) is next on January 25, available on day one. It's an arcade-like twin-stick shooter with roguelite elements.
Brotato (cloud, console, PC) is another roguelite shooter coming to Game Pass on January 30.
The latest wave wraps up with action-RPG Anuchard (cloud, console, PC), which becomes available on February 6.
Leaving the subscription service on January 31 is Hitman: World of Assassination (cloud, console, PC). IO Interactive's acclaimed package features all the major missions and content from Hitman, Hitman 2, and Hitman 3, as well as the roguelike Freelancer mode.
There's no better time to try Hitman's World of Assassination trilogy, but it's only free for two more weeks.
The cheapest way to get Game Pass is by buying a subscription from CDKeys, as this is discounted compared to the prices you pay directly from the Xbox Store.
