New Xfinity store set to open in Monroe this week

A new Xfinity store is coming to Monroe on September 15.

The 1,444-square-foot facility is designed to let customers experience new services and handle account-related tasks.

The new store, located at 4279 Pecanland Mall Drive, features multiple counters staffed by Xfinity sales consultants and displays that illustrate the company’s full range of products and services.

In addition, customers can sign up for Internet Essentials, a service that includes 100 Mbps speed, a cable modem, access to millions of Wi-Fi hotspots and unlimited data for $29.95 per month. Customers who qualify can also learn how to enroll in the federal government’s Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP). By participating in both Internet Essentials and ACP, eligible families can receive free or heavily reduced Xfinity Internet and Xfinity Mobile services.

“We’ve made it easier than ever for our customers to test drive the latest Xfinity products and services in our new store in Monroe,” said Comcast Regional SVP Jason Gumbs. “The opening of this new retail center is part of our larger national effort to enhance the customer experience.”

The new Xfinity Store will be open seven days a week. Store hours are Monday-Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5:00 p.m. This store is replacing the current Comcast Service Center, located at 405 Kiroli Road in West Monroe.
