Y-12 Federal Credit Union receives top industry recognition

Y-12 Federal Credit Union received a Diamond Award, described in a news release as one of the industry's top recognitions, at the recent 2023 Credit Union National Association’s (CUNA) Marketing and Business Development Council Conference.

The awards are designated annually to credit unions that exemplify the highest degree of creativity and successful marketplace results, the release said. The 2023 Diamond Awards consisted of 36 categories and hundreds of entries from credit unions across the nation. Y-12 FCU’s Diamond Award was in the direct mail single or series category.

Director of Marketing Caroline Gemmell and Alicia Strange attended this year’s annual meeting in Orlando to accept the award.

“We collectively embrace this achievement and will continue to deliver creative campaigns that empower members to live their best financial lives,” Gemmell said in the release.

“Each marketing project from inception to execution begins with a member-centric approach. As a result, each team member brings unique abilities to the table, and this award is the evidence of teamwork in action and those abilities blending to create powerful campaigns,” said Vice President of Marketing Amber Price. “I am so proud.”
