YAIAA baker's dozen named to District 3 boys' volleyball all-star teams
More than a dozen York-Adams players were named to the District 3 boys' volleyball all-star team, it was announced Thursday.
District 3 coaches selected first- and second-team all-stars in Class 2A and players for first, second and third teams in Class 3A.
York Suburban led the way with three players named to the Class 2A first team, and five players overall. Two York Catholic players were named to the second team.

Trojan seniors Jacob Brenner and Brady Stump were named to the first team as opposite and outside hitters, respectively. Junior Jackson Bryant joined his teammates as a middle hitter selection. Senior Ben Klimes (outside hitter) and junior Matt Torres (middle hitter) were named to the second team.
York Catholic junior twins Luke and John Forjan were named to the second team as outside hitter and setter, respectively.
In Class 3A, Central York senior opposite hitter Matt Smyser was the only YAIAA player named to the first team. His teammate Lance Sheffer, a freshman libero, was the only league player named to the second team.
Red Lion sophomore outside hitter Tyler Good and senior middle hitter Joey Kozak were named to the third team.
Northeastern senior outside hitters Owen Kohr and Jacob Hornberger were also named to the third team.
