Yankee equipment truck gets stuck in Fenway Park garage door trying to leave after disastrous series

Getting the hell out of Boston at full speed is always a good strategy, but one driver took it too far on Sunday.

The Yankees’ equipment truck got stuck in a garage door leaving Fenway Park, according to the Boston Globe’s Pete Abraham. A local TV reporter shared a photo of the unfortunately named “Getaway Sports” truck. Another video showed workers attempting to get the door unstuck.

Fenway was a house of horrors for the Yankees all weekend, as they lost three straight and fell to fourth place in the AL East. They still haven’t beaten the Red Sox in six tries this season. Particularly disturbing was Sunday’s blowout loss, which did nothing to quell questions about Gerrit Cole’s effectiveness in the grip crackdown era. No word yet on if the truck, at least, was able to escape.
