Welcome to Opening Day!

The New York Yankees start their 2023 season this afternoon against the San Francisco Giants at 1:05 p.m. at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx.

While Gerrit Cole will take the mound for the Yankees, all eyes will be on rookie Anthony Volpe of Watchung, who is making his Major League debut at shortstop, and batting ninth in the order.
