Yankees vs. Texas Rangers game postponed Friday due to rain forecast; Here's when it will be played

The Yankees will now have two straight days off.

Their game against the Texas Rangers that was scheduled for Friday night has been postponed because of inclement weather and will be made up as part of a double-header on Sunday at Yankee Stadium.

It will be the second game of a single-admission doubleheader that will will begin at 1:35 p.m.

Only tickets dated for Sunday, May 8 will be valid for the doubleheader. Tickets dated for Friday will not.

Fans holding tickets for Friday night's postponed game can exchange them for a similar regular-season game.

The Yankees were also off Thursday following their road trip to Kansas City and Toronto.

Gerrit Cole was scheduled to be on the mound for the Yankees Friday night, while Glenn Otto was slated to pitch for the Rangers.
