Whether you’re looking to ring in 2023 with live music, stand-up comedy, circus performers or a raucous party that culminates with a champagne toast, there are many events across metro Phoenix where you can celebrate New Year’s Eve 2022.

Hotels such as W Scottsdale, Talking Stick Resort and the Renaissance Hotel are one-stop shops where revelers can spend the night after partying into the New Year.

Fans of live music can enjoy concerts at Phoenix Symphony, the Musical Instrument Museum, The Nash and Crescent Ballroom. EDM fans are in luck because they can spend the final days of 2022 with some well-known DJs at the Decadence Arizona music festival.

Those with young ones can celebrate without staying up past bedtime at the Phoenix Zoo and the Children’s Museum of Phoenix.

Zoolights

Walk through the Phoenix Zoo as the grounds are lit with millions of colorful lights for Zoolights.

In between checking on the animals to see what they’re up to at night, make sure to seek out all of the twinkling animal sculptures, lanterns along the Africa Trail and music-and-light shows at the lake, where a 53-foot-tall digital tree can be found floating.

The Zoppé Family Circus is back in town with a one-ring circus that “honors the history of their old-world Italian circus tradition.”

Inside the 500-seat tent expect a storyline featuring acrobatic stunts, equine showmanship and Nino the clown. There will be a balloon drop and countdown at the end of the show (which ends well before midnight).

Happy Noon Year Celebration at Children's Museum of Phoenix

The Children's Museum of Phoenix will host a New Year's Eve event that doesn't keep kids awake past their bedtime. The celebration will have sparkling cider, music, dancing and a balloon drop.

New Year’s Eve Live at Westgate Entertainment District

Celebrate New Year’s Eve at six bars for one cover charge at the Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale.

Fat Tuesday, Salt Tacos y Tequila, Carousel Arcade Bar, The Lola, Bodega and M Social House are hosting an indoor and outdoor block party where you can ring in the New Year with drinks, live music, fireworks and a midnight countdown. Pop-country artist Filmore will headline the event.

Project Presley: Beyond ’77 at Arizona Broadway Theatre

Ring in the New Year with rock 'n' roll in Peoria. Elvis Presley tribute artist Chance Tinder will take the stage at Arizona Broadway Theatre for two shows on Dec. 31. Opening act Not Fade Away will perform "amped-up renditions of classic hit songs" by Buddy Holly.

The matinee show begins at 3 p.m. and includes party favors, a three-course meal and champagne toast. The evening show starts at 7 p.m., includes party favors, a cash bar, hors d'oeuvres and a three-course dinner. The night ends with a champagne toast and balloon drop.

Dance the night away on New Year's Eve at this upscale party. Downtown Phoenix's Crescent Ballroom has a lineup of indoor and outdoor stage performances for its New Year's Eve celebration. Playboy Manbaby, Breakup Shoes, Sydney Sprague and Veronica Everhart will take to the stage inside the ballroom, and Okinawa Plane Crash, Boss Frog, Diva Bleach, Spicy Mayo and Wallace Hound can be found out on the patio.

Decadence Arizona at Phoenix Raceway

Decadence Arizona will bring what it calls "Arizona’s largest New Year’s Eve celebration" to Phoenix Raceway with a two-day music festival on Dec. 30-31. The lineup includes DJ Pauly D, Flume, Kayzo, Zeds Dead, Porter Robinson, Dr. Fresch, Louis The Child and Hannah Wants.

Gates open at 5 p.m. both days, and guests must be 18 years or older.

Talking Stick Resort’s Glitter & Glow

Talking Stick Resort’s New Year’s Eve celebration this year features tribute bands for some of music’s biggest stars. George Michael Reborn and Who’s Bad — “the ultimate Michael Jackson experience” — will take to the stage as guests (who must be 21 or older) enjoy four drinks and a champagne toast at midnight.
