New Year's Eve events announced so far in Erie and nearby:

  • Boogie on the Bay The Fiesta Way, Bayfront Convention Center, 1 Sassafras Pier, with live music by The Chosen Few, drink tickets, hors d'oeuvres and champagne toast; hotel packages available. When: Dec. 31, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Ticket info to be announced: erieevents.com.

  • Noon Years Eve, at the Experience Children's Museum, 420 French St., with entertainment, balloon drops, more. When: Two sessions, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 to 5 p.m. Cost: $10 for members, $12 for non-members. Ticket info: eriechildrensmuseum.org.

  • New Year's Eve at the Baldwin, at the Baldwin-Reynolds House Museum, 639 Terrace St., Meadville, with hors d'oeuvres by Venango Valley Inn, wine, Voodoo Brewery beer and midnight champagne toast. When: 9:30 p.m. Cost: $20 for Crawford County Historical Society members, $40 for others with one-year membership included. Ticket info: baldwinreynolds.org.

  • Asbury Woods Winter Wonderland, at Asbury Woods, 4105 Asbury Road, with lighted boardwalk, exhibits in Andrew J. Conner Nature Center. When: Dec. 1-31 excluding Dec. 24-25, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Cost: Free, donations accepted. Info: asburywoods.org.

  • New Year's Rockin' Eve, at Erie Otters vs. Niagara IceDogs game, Erie Insurance Arena, 809 French St., with live music in the concourse, photo booth, specialty jersey night. When: 6 p.m. Cost: Varies by seating. Ticket info: ottershockey.com.

  • New Year's Eve Carnival Celebration, at Splash Lagoon, 8091 Peach St., with live animal show, character appearances, coloring contests, face painting and midnight ball drop. When: Dec. 31-Jan. 1. Cost: Activities included with water park admission. Info: splashlagoon.com.

  • Winter Wonderland of Trees at the Elsie Greer House Bed & Breakfast, 45 Park St., North East, with refreshments. When: Dec. 31, 4 to 8 p.m. Cost: $5 adults, $3 children 12 and under. Info: theelsiegreerhouse.com.
