Don't worry, "American Idol" fans: Ryan Seacrest will be back as host next season.

ABC revealed his return Friday, following speculation last month that he was quitting the show when his name was conspicuously absent from an announcement about returning judges for the upcoming season.

Seacrest, 44, has been with the "Idol" franchise since its start on Fox in 2002. He remained as host when the singing competition moved from Fox to ABC last year. He'll return to "Idol" alongside judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan, and in-house mentor Bobby Bones.

Along with the third season of "Idol" on ABC, premiering early next year, Seacrest will continue to host ABC-owned syndicated talk show "Live with Kelly and Ryan" and KIIS-FM radio show "On Air with Ryan Seacrest."

Seacrest made headlines in November 2017 when he was accused of sexual harassment by a former E! wardrobe stylist. He denied the claims and an investigation was launched into the allegations, which was closed early the following year after insufficient evidence was found.
