YMCA names two Palm Beachers to board of directors

The YMCA of the Palm Beaches has added two Palm Beach residents to its board of directors.

Philip Cambo, CEO of Palmer, Massachusetts-based Northern Tree Service, is a member of the World Affairs Council of Palm Beach and the Coudert Institute. He is actively involved in renewable energy projects in Massachusetts and real estate investments in Florida, and is on the YMCA’s Prayer Breakfast Committee.

Thomas P. Hunt, fomer general counsel for SBA Communications and partner in the West Palm Beach office of Gunster, has served on the boards of the Economic Council of Palm Beach County and the Rosarian Academy. A corporate attorney for 38 years, Hunt also will be taking an active role on the YMCA’s Governance Committee.

“The impressive leadership experience that Phil and Thomas bring to the YMCA’s Board of Directors will strengthen our ability to impact the local Palm Beach community through our focus areas of youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility,” said Tim Coffield, president and CEO of YMCA of the Palm Beaches.
