Yolo County restaurants reopen indoors at modified capacity

Some businesses in Yolo County are welcoming customers back indoors again starting this week. The county returned to the red tier, meaning some operations, like restaurants and gyms, can reopen with modified capacity. "It feels great. I think we’re starting to have a slow comeback for the restaurant business, for our business here," said Derar Zawaydeh, owner of Burgers and Brew in West Sacramento. As a fifteen-year veteran of the restaurant business, Zawaydeh has seen and survived his fair share of challenges. He never expected to add a pandemic to the list. "We are just trying to keep our heads above water right now," added Zawaydeh. "We're resilient as humans. We'll come back."
