Yonkers, New Rochelle, Nyack offering special restaurant weeks with meals, deals, special promotions

Last winter, special restaurant weeks popped up in towns and villages across the Lower Hudson Valley. The promotions were designed to bring awareness and business to an industry pummeled by the pandemic.

Well, it's that time again.

Local restaurant weeks proved so popular with diners, that some cities and towns are repeating theirs in 2022. White Plains and Suffern just ended their promotions, but Yonkers is going on now with New Rochelle and Nyack right behind.

Through March 1, diners can enjoy $20 lunches or $40 dinners during Yonkers Downtown Restaurant Week, sponsored by the Yonkers Downtown Business Improvement District. That will include dine-in and take out options. There are more than two dozen downtown restaurants participating. To see the full list, and more details, go to yonkersdowntown.com.

The second annual Nyack Feasts! takes place March 1-10. The event encourages diners to support local restaurants which are providing special food, discounts, and free treats. Offerings range from pastries and fine coffees to full-service gourmet dining; you can opt to dine in, or take out. Also starting March 1: New Rochelle Downtown Restaurant APPRECIATION Week, sponsored by The New Rochelle Downtown Business Improvement District (NRBID). More than two dozen restaurants will feature $25 and $45 specials for dine-in or take out. The promotion ends March 10.
