Yoplait Is Making New Skittles Yogurt to Bring More Candy Into Your Life
Yoplait certainly knows how to convince us to eat more yogurt. In 2019, the brand unveiled Starburst yogurt in all four original candy flavors, and in 2020, it introduced Gushers yogurt with bursting beads. The latest candy to get this yogurt treatment is Skittles!
The new Skittles yogurt comes in two varieties: Original and Wild Berry. The first one features the classic red packaging and a single red Skittle, which leads us to believe that the yogurt is modeled after the Strawberry flavor and not a mash-up that includes the other four original flavors: Orange, Lemon, Green Apple, and Grape. Skittles Wild Berry candies come in Wild Cherry, Strawberry, Melon Berry, Raspberry, and Berry Punch, and the packaging also features a red candy to indicate the Wild Cherry flavor. However, it is possible that each yogurt is a combination of all the varieties in their respective packs. We’ll have to wait to hear from Yoplait about this!
These new offerings have popped up on Teal’s Market’s website, a grocery store that has undergone some name changes over the years. The company primarily operates in Minnesota, but the good news is that it isn’t a store exclusive. Instagram account @theimpulsivebuy posted a photo of the yogurts at Safeway in both the Original and Wild Berry flavors.
Late last year, Skittles unveiled Skittles Gummies in Original and Wild Berry flavors. The brand is clearly on a roll with new, fun products that remind why we love this fruity candy so much. Now let’s see if we love it in yogurt form …
