York Co. man accused of using video game controller as weapon in robbery, deputies say
A York County man is facing charges after robbing a store using a video game controller as a weapon, according to deputies.
The York County Sheriff’s Office arrested David Joseph Dalesandro after they say he used a spray-painted Nintendo Duck Hunt game pistol to rob a Sharon Kwik Stop convenience store on York Street in Sharon.

The robbery took place on Tuesday around 5:45 p.m. and Dalesandro was quickly taken into custody at a nearby store.

Witnesses told deputies Dalesandro went into the store wearing a mask, wig, hoodie sweat shirt and showed a clerk the fake gun in the waistband of his pants, demanding money. He took about $300.
Dalesandro is now in the York County Detention Center.
