New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio is apologizing on behalf of his more than 8 million constituents for not sending the best from the city to the American capital. He said he's very sorry the people of New Hampshire got to know Donald Trump, "he is not the best of New York."

Mayor de Blasio was one of a parade of 19 Democratic White House hopefuls plead their case to thousands of New Hampshire party activists, hoping a quick sales pitch will help ignite their campaigns in the race to pick a challenger to President Donald Trump in 2020.
