New York Mets, Houston Astros announce Tuesday night starting lineups; McNeil returns

The New York Mets open a two-game home series against the Houston Astros on Tuesday night.

First pitch is set for 7:10 p.m. at Citi Field. The game will be broadcast on SNY in New York and on TBS nationally.

Framber Valdez (7-3, 2.90) will start for Houston, while Carlos Carrasco (8-3, 4.42) will go for New York.

The Astros swept a two-game series against the Mets in Houston last week.

Jeff McNeil (hamstring) is back in the New York lineup after missing five games.
