New York Police Free Fox Stuck in Soccer Net

Police officers rescued a fox entangled in a soccer net in Chatham, New York, footage released by the New York State Police on February 13 shows.

The video shows one officer cutting the fox out of the net while another officer records the rescue and attempts to throw a blanket over the fox in an apparent attempt to subdue it.

Writing about the incident on Facebook, New York State Police conceded that while they need to work on their camerawork, they are “proud to bring a high level of service even to those who do not traditionally seek our help.”
