New York State Police: Woman dead, man injured after domestic incident in Apalachin

One person is dead and another hospitalized following a domestic incident early Monday morning in Tioga County.

Few details are being released, but around 3:57 a.m., troopers responded to 10 Debra Lee Drive in Apalachin for a reported domestic dispute, according to New York State Police.

Troopers and emergency medical personnel provided treatment to an injured man and woman who were found at the scene.

The woman died from injuries sustained during the domestic dispute, state police said. The man was transported to UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City for treatment of his injuries. He was in stable condition Monday.

No names are being released and no other information is available at this time. The investigation is continuing, and state police say additional details will be available in the near future.
