New York Yankees, Cleveland Guardians announce Game 1 lineups for Saturday's doubleheader
After Friday night's rainout, the New York Yankees and Cleveland Guardians will play a split doubleheader on Saturday.
First pitch of Game 1 is 12:10 p.m. at Cleveland's Progressive Field. The game will be broadcast on Amazon Prime Video. Game 2 will star t at 6:10 p.m. on the YES Network.
In the opener, Gerrit Cole (6-2, 2.99) will start for New York, while Kirk McCarty (0-1, 10.29) will go for Cleveland.
The Yankees (56-21) lead the American League East by 12 games with the best record in baseball. Cleveland (39-34) is 1.5 games behind the Minnesota Twins in the AL Central.
