New Yorkers work, play in snow

Many people are working through the massive snowstorm that is hammering much of the Northeast, including Times Square food vendor Salma Elkordy. The storm is also an opportunity for urban skiers. (Feb. 1)

SALMA ELKORDY: This a very snowy, a lot of snow out here in Times Square. The people are still out here. We see kids running around throwing snowballs. People are enjoying taking pictures. So we're out here. We've got some good tunes and some coffee. And we're making the best of it. Hello.

MICHAEL HANDY: This isn't even snow. I grew up in North Dakota, where it snows in early December and stays until April, or at least it used to. But yeah, I love this snow. It's great.
