Braden Young earns Premier Basketball League honorable mention honor

The website usbasket.com announced the Premier Basketball League All Awards team.

The Lancaster Thunder PBL Champions had three players with New Philadelphia native Braden Young, along with Jaetuan WIlliams and Sean Rodgers, making the list.

Lancaster's Phil McNight was named Coach of the Year.

Young was named PBL "Player of the Week" in Week 13 scoring 26 points. He was named Player of the Game in the Thunder's championship game where he led all scorers with 29 points.

Young averaged 24.5 points in the playoffs. He was also played in the PBL all-star game for the Eastern Division.

Williams, the Thunder's leading scorer, and Rodgers were named first team. Williams was named the Player of the Year.
