AMANDA − Jemma Hill is looking for an encore performance with country artist Luke Bryan.

Bryan called the then 9-year-old up onstage with him during his 2021 Farm Tour at the Miller Family Farm near Millersport to help him sing "Waves." Now 11, Jemma is hoping to get the call again during Bryan's Sept. 15 show at the Miller Family Farm.

"I'd like to," she said. "But there's a pretty big chance that I'm probably not."

In 2021, Jemma was sitting on someone's shoulders wearing a yellow hat when Bryan spotted her. Jemma's mother, Janet Hill, thought Bryan just wanted to give Jemma a high-five.

"Then before we knew it the security guards were taking her off the guy's shoulders and putting her on the stage," she said. "I had gotten pushed back, so I couldn't even see her onstage. I could see on a screen beside the stage and I was in shock. My neighbor happened to walk up beside me at the time and he looked at me and said, 'That's Jemma!'"

Jemma said while she was a little nervous, she had fun singing with Bryan. She also said she's been a fan for as long as she can remember. Her mother said Jemma knows every word to every Bryan song.

"It's just the way he sings and just the way he puts together the words," Jemma said. "And the rhythm of the music, it's just better than any other country singer right now."

She said she was a celebrity in school after her appearance with Bryan.

"Yes, I was," Jemma said. "Everybody was like, 'Wow!' when I told them the story. They didn't believe me, and then I showed them a video."

Janet Hill said Bryan shared the video on his social media pages and it garnered around 4 million view and 5,000 comments.

"I was tagged in it like 100 times," she said. "So I woke up with hundreds of messages from random people."

Janet Hill said she's been a Bryan fan for his entire career.

"We have him on our Echos (digital device)," she said. "We say, 'Play Luke Bryan.' I like pretty much all country."
