The video, taken by celebrity clipper Fats Da Barber, sees the 30-year-old showing off her fresh ‘do while she mumbles something undeterminable. Some viewers noted her eyes seemed yellow.

Fats Da Barber was the first to respond to viewers’ concerned chatter, as well as those who believed he did the rapper wrong by sharing the video. He explained that he would never try to “embarrass” or out the “OOOUUU” MC.

“If she didn’t want me to record she would have told me,” he wrote on Instagram Stories. “What y’all need to do is just send your prayers for her and that’s that she didn’t have a haircut in a month.”

M.A quickly entered the chat, explaining that all is good on her end, and it had actually been much longer since she touched up her locs, TMZ reports.

“We blessed don’t let that get to u blooda .. and I told you it was like four months,” she wrote.

Back in 2019, M.A got candid about her alcohol use, telling Time magazine that she “couldn’t go nowhere without a bottle of Hennessy.”

“It became a little addicting—a habit of drinking no matter where I went. I still battle that, even now,” she said. “It’s something that kind of runs in my family as well. Sometimes I look at it as an escape, from all the pressure and BS that I deal with. I wanted to speak on it on the album because I know I’m not the only person that has that type of battle with any drug or addiction.”

According to Complex, the raper allegedly went to rehab in 2021 after struggling with alcohol abuse.

Last December, a video of her using a wheelchair in a grocery store started circulating online, fueling speculation that she wasn’t doing well.

M.A has yet to update fans on the current state of her health.
