Have yourself a coastal Christmas. These Myrtle Beach area shops sell the holiday all year

It may not be Thanksgiving yet, but for those who love Christmas, it’s never too early to start decorating.

There are several Myrtle Beach area stores where it’s Christmas every day.

And depending on what holiday theme you’re going for this year, you can probably find it at these stores. That includes nautical- and beached-themed ornaments and decor perfect for a souvenir for those vacationing along the Grand Strand or those who just want to celebrate living along the coast during the winter.

Christmas Mouse

This year-round Christmas store offers more than 30,000 ornaments, collectibles and other decor.

It has three locations in the area, and its North Myrtle Beach location has been an anchor tenant at Barefoot Landing for more than 30 years. The Myrtle Beach location was opened off Highway 17 in 1988, according to the website.

The Pawleys Island location offers Christmas trees and decorations surrounded by at tobacco barn that was constructed in 1900 and is registered with the South Carolina Historic Preservation Office.

River City Christmas

Located in Conway, River City is open year-round and is in a two-story building filled with items for different seasons and holidays. However, their specialty is Christmas.

Location: 916 3rd Ave., Conway. Hours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday

Christmas at the Beach

The name sort says it all, doesn’t it? Located at Broadway at the Beach, this Christmas store has a number of holiday ornaments and gifts.

Location: 4628 Factory Stores Blvd., Suite 21. Hours: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday

ST. Nicks Nacks

Just a short drive across the border into North Carolina is this Christmas shop that has more than 150 decorated trees and more than 4 million ornaments.

St. Nicks Nacks, located inside Callahan’s of Calabash, also offers collectible items from Christopher Radko and Department 56, according to the website.

Booth’s Christmas Tree Farm

Now that you have all those ornaments, you need a tree to put them on. Forgo that artificial, pre-lit tree and cut down a real one at a Christmas tree farm.

Booth’s Christmas Tree Farm will have its choose plus cut fields on Nov. 18. The farm has been in business for 61 years and has such trees as Carolina Sapphire, Eastern Red Cedar, Leyland Cypress, Virginia Pine, Clemson Greenspire and White Pine.

Location: 5268 Adrian Highway, Conway. Hours. 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday

“I just like the whole idea of hunting for a tree,” said John Haseney. He and wife Nancy searched the 40 acrers at Booth’s Christmas Tree Farm in Conway Wednesday until they found their tree.
