Youth golf: Gainesville's Hudson Justus finished tied for seventh at Notah Begay Junior National Championship
Nov. 10—Gainesville's Hudson Justus put together a three-round total of 7-under par to finish tied for seventh in the 10-11 age group at the Notah Begay Junior Golf National Championship on Wednesday in Kinder, Louisiana.
A fifth-grade student at Mount Vernon Elementary, Justus had his best round on Day 1 with a 67. On the final round he went under par again at 69.
Justus originally qualified out of a field of more than 300 of the top junior golfers, winning qualifying in July.
