Youth sports: Indoor track club back, volleyball at Tier Ten
The Indiana Track Club's indoor track program is back.
The season will run Jan. 3 to Feb. 10 with practices taking place Monday through Thursday from 6:30-8 p.m. at the IU indoor track inside the Gladstein Fieldhouse.
The program is for boys and girls, ages 6-18. Beginners and experienced athletes are welcome.
The cost is $120 for Explorers and Competitors and includes the $10 for the annual Indiana Track Club membership for new 2022 members and includes a club T-shirt.
A special registration session will take place on Sunday from 4-6 p.m. at the IU indoor track. Registration will still be open each night before practice. The registration form and Covid-19 Waiver can be found on the Indiana Track Club website.
All parents, athletes and coaches entering the field house must wear a mask, but coaches and athletes on or inside the oval track may remove them while active.
Volleyball at Tier Ten
Registration for Tier Ten’s 2022 Junior-Developmental Volleyball Program is now open through Jan. 8.
The season runs each Saturday from Jan. 8-March 5 and the league is divided into ages 8-10 and 11-13. Sessions for ages 8-10 will run 8:30-10 a.m. and ages 11-13 will go from 10-11:30 a.m.
Cost is $99 per player. Tier Ten volleyball shirt included with registration fee.
