YouTube's Top Earner of 2018 Is a 7-Year-Old Toy Reviewer and Bet You Can't Guess How Much He Made (PureWow)

What were up to when you were 7 years old? If you’re like us, you went to school, had some playdates and got mad at your siblings when they played with your Barbies.

You certainly weren’t earning millions of dollars a year for reviewing toys. That is, unless you’re Ryan (of Ryan ToysReview), YouTube’s highest-paid content creator of 2018.

Earlier this week, Forbes released its annual list of the top ten highest-paid YouTubers, and Ryan took the top spot, beating out the likes of gamer PewDiePie and cosmetics mogul Jeffree Star.

His earnings between June 1, 2017, and June 1, 2018? A whopping $22 million.

Yes, you read that right: There is a 7-year-old making $22 million a year for playing with—and talking about—toys. With more than 17 million subscribers to his channel, Ryan makes videos that are part vlog, part unboxing and quickly racks up millions of views.

What does one even do with $22 million in second grade?
