YouTube Korea releases list of top 10 most-watched music videos for 2022

YouTube has revealed the most-watched music videos of the year in Korea.

The list features videos uploaded in 2022, and only views by YouTube users in Korea from Jan. 1 to Oct. 30 were counted. Check out the videos and their position on the list below.


10. Lim Young Woong - "Rainbow"

5. Lim Young Woong - "Our Blues, Our Life"

1. Lim Young Woong

South Korean trot and ballad singer Lim Young Woong started the list at No. 10 with his music video “Rainbow.” It has so far amassed 13 million views. He also took the No. 5 spot for “Our Blues, Our Life” and No. 1 for “If We Ever Meet Again.” Those music videos have 10 million views and 29 million views, respectively.

9. IVE - "LOVE DIVE"

7. IVE - "After LIKE"

At No. 9 on the list is rookie K-pop girl group IVE with their first comeback song “LOVE DIVE.” The music video has 175 million views at the time of this writing. The track also took home “Song of the Year” at the Melon Music Awards and MAMA Awards. IVE also took the No. 7 spot for their latest single, “After LIKE.

8. GOT the Beat - "Step Back"

SM Entertainment super girl group GOT the Beat, consisting of K-pop queen BoA, Taeyeon and Hyoyeon from Girls' Generation, Seulgi and Wendy from Red Velvet and Karina and Winter from aespa, took No. 8 with a stage performance video of their song “Step Back,” which currently has 139 million views.

6. BLACKPINK - "Pink Venom"

BLACKPINK’s “Pink Venom” music video took No. 6 with 461 million views at the time of this writing.

5. (G)I-DLE - "TOMBOY"

(G)I-DLE’s “TOMBOY,” the title track music video from their first full album “I Never Die,” took No. 5. It currently has 188 million views.

3. BIGBANG - "Still Life"

At No. 3 is BIGBANG’s long-awaited return from their four-year hiatus “Still Life.” It has 76 million views.

2. PSY (feat. Suga) - "That That"

At the No. 2 spot is PSY’s collaboration track “That That,” featuring BTS’s Suga. The song is just one of several noteworthy collaborations from the album "Psy 9th Ssada9.” It has garnered 375 million views.
