Yum! Krispy Kreme Is Giving Away a Dozen Free Doughnuts to All 2021 Graduates
Class of 2021, this one's for you! Or should we say this dozen's for you?
Krispy Kreme is giving away one dozen free doughnuts to all graduating high school and college seniors as part of its current "Senior Week" special. If you're a graduating senior, all you'll need to do is head to your local Krispy Kreme shop on Thursday, May 13, wearing your cap and gown, or other Class of 2021 swag. (Swag examples include a cap and gown with 2021 tassel, class of 2021 apparel, a 2021 letterman jacket featuring senior status, or 2021 class ring.)
The lucky graduates will be treated to Krispy Kreme's limited edition 2021 "Graduate Dozen," which includes an assortment of classic varieties like Chocolate Iced Kreme Filled, Strawberry Iced Kreme Filled, Cake Batter Filled, Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles, Strawberry Iced with Sprinkles, Yellow Iced, and Original Glazed doughnuts.
Of course, if you ask us, nothing can compare to Ree's homemade glazed doughnuts. That said, we would never turn down free Krispy Kreme doughnuts of any kind! This offer is simply too sweet to refuse.
Families and friends can also purchase the Graduate Dozen for the special senior in their lives. It's available this week only, May 10 through May 16.
The free doughnuts are Krispy Kreme's way of recognizing the class of 2021's perseverance throughout, well, 2020.
“It’s been a tough year for this year's graduates, marked by virtual learning, canceled sports, limited school activities, altered or eliminated proms and non-traditional graduation ceremonies. But the class of 2021 persevered through it all,” Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme chief marketing officer, said in a statement. “We admire them, we’re proud of them and we want to celebrate all of them by giving them a special Graduate Dozen completely free at their local Krispy Kreme.”
