LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Christian-rock performer Zach Williams will be performing at the Long Center for the Performing Arts March 2 and 3.

Williams is touring across the country for his Spring Tour 2022 series. His schedule includes Lafayette as his first stop, before visiting Akron, Ohio, Rockford, Ill., Florence, S.C., and many others.

According to a release, "(Williams) made history with two consecutive radio No. 1 hits for 35 weeks as a debut artist ('Chain Breaker,' 'Old Church Choir'), and 'There Was Jesus,' his duet with Dolly Parton, topped the charts for multiple weeks. Most of all, Williams' music comes from a place of humility and honesty as his songs are a direct reflection of God's redemption in his life."

Williams previously performed his RIAA-certified gold single, "There Was Jesus," with Dolly Parton at the 53rd Annual CMA Awards. According to a release, this song was on the Pandora Top Spins chart for 12 weeks and was named one of Pandora's top 100 songs across all genres.

Other accords in Williams' music career include winning six GMA Dove Awards for: Artist of the Year; New Artist of the Year; Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year, "Chain Breaker;" Pop/Contemporary Song, “Old Church Choir;” Songwriter of the Year/Artist and Recorded Music Packaging.

Williams' 35-city spring tour will feature singer-songwriter Anne Wilson as a special gust. Wilson's song "My Jesus" has charted on the Spotify Viral 50, Shazam Top 200, and Rolling Stone Top 25 Trending charts, according to the release.

Tickets to Williams' shows are available at https://www.awakeningevents.com/zachwilliams. Regular tickets range from $15 to $199, depending on the seat's location.

Williams is also offering the VIP Eat and Greet experience which includes entry to a pre-show gourmet dinner prepared by professional chef Paul Fields. VIP guests will hear an exclusive, yet-to-be-released song by Williams, be able to take a photo with the singer, reserve premium concert seating, gain early access to merchandise shopping and receive a commemorative VIP tour laminate and gift bag.

The VIP Eat and Greet experience is limited to 50 people per city, according to Awakening Events. According to the ticket sale website, the gourmet dinner menu will feature lemon caper chicken, Tuscan beef, pesto orzo pasta, spring greens with seasonal garden vegetables and strawberry shortcake.
