Zachary, Westgate among top choices in preseason 2022 LSWA football poll

Undefeated 2021 state champions Zachary, Westgate and Sterlington, along with state runner-up Many and Class 1A champ Homer, headline the Louisiana Sports Writers Association preseason high school football polls released Tuesday morning.

Heading the LHSAA Class 5A poll is Zachary, which went 15-0 last season and returns Alabama quarterback commitment Eli Holstein, LSU commitment Kylin Jackson and Auburn commitment Ashley Williams.
