Zack Snyder Says He Was 'Tortured' Over Justice League's Snyder Cut

Zack Snyder finally got to release his version of Justice League earlier this year, even getting to shoot new scenes for it.
But the director states that, despite being given the ability to do this project after a very vocal fan campaign, the studio "tortured" him during the process.
Speaking to Uproxx to promote his new Netflix movie Army of the Dead, Snyder didn't give any specific details, but did call their behavior "aggressive".

"It was cool to do the Snyder Cut of Justice League and that was fun and everything. But Warner Bros still tortured me the whole time for whatever reason. I don't know why I'm such a pain in their ass because I'm not trying to be, honestly.
"I don't want to get in trouble either, but I'm not going to sit here and let them act like that and not… Look, they're the ones that have been aggressive, not me. I haven't done anything. Every day they'd turn around and do some weird passive-aggressive thing.
"So, I don't know. It's weird. But look, like I say, I had a great time making Justice League. I'm super glad I got to finish it."
Digital Spy have reached out to Warner Bros for comment and will update accordingly.
Previously, the director admitted that he thought he would be sued by the studio after showing support for the fan campaign in its early days.
Zack Snyder's Justice League is available on HBO Max in the US and on Sky Cinema and NOW in the UK.
