DELTA TWP. - Zaytoon Mediterranean Grill will appear on Food Network this week.

The Delta Township restaurant will be featured in an episode of "Triple D Nation" set to air at 9 p.m. Friday, Julie Chudow, public relations manager for Food Network, confirmed in an email Tuesday.

"Triple D Nation," a spinoff of "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives," revisits eateries restaurateur Guy Fieri has featured on air.

"Food Network's 'Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives' was back to follow up with Zaytoon Lansing!," read a post on the eatery's Facebook page Monday evening.

The upcoming show marks Zaytoon's second appearance on Food Network. Fieri first featured the restaurant, known for its chicken shawarma, kabobs and hummus, five years ago on an episode of "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives."

"On this trip, Guy Fieri's got breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks," reads a description for the episode provided by Chudow. "In Columbus, Ohio, Guy reminisces about Italian beef while loadin' up on a meatball sub and gyro rolls. Then, creative cocktails and a jammin' turkey burger get his attention in Edison, New Jersey, and in Lansing, Michigan, he's finding Middle Eastern must-haves like shawarma and fried kibbeh."

In October 2021, the Food Network filmed at four Lansing-area eateries previously featured on the network — Eastside Fish Fry & Grill, Joe's Gizzard City, Meat Southern B.B.Q. & Carnivore Cuisine and Zaytoon.

In February, the footage shot at Lansing's Eastside Fish Fry & Grill was featured on an episode of "Triple D Nation."

The network has not announced when the other two restaurants will be featured.
