●      Zelenskyy’s office denies conflict with Zaluzhnyi

There is no conflict between President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, with both top officials remaining in daily communication, Ukrainian presidential adviser Mykhailo Podolyak said in an interview with NV Radio on Nov. 29.

●      Poland’s Tusk accuses outgoing Polish government of inaction in Polish trucker border blockade

The leader of the opposition Civic Platform, Donald Tusk, accused the Polish government of inaction regarding the border blockade with Ukraine, urging the halt of the protest by carriers, during a Nov. 28 briefing in parliament.

●      Russia replacing Ukrainian population in occupied territories by importing 100,000+ Central Asians

In a move reminiscent of the great forced migrations of Stalinist Russia, Russia has shipped over 100,000 Central Asians to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, Ukraine’s National Resistance Center (NRC) reported on Nov. 29.

Ukraine experienced an electricity shortage on Nov. 29 at 13:00, prompting a call for citizens to conserve energy, according to a statement from the National Power Company, Ukrenergo.

The Slovak government has decided to extend the ban on grain and other agricultural goods imports from Ukraine during a meeting on Nov. 29, according to Czech news outlet Novinky.cz.

●      How Zakarpattian Hungarians view the Kyiv-Budapest conflict

The conflict between Kyiv and Budapest has flared up even before Russia’s war against Ukraine, in particular over the issue of Hungarian passports to residents of Zakarpattia Oblast. Hungary, for its part, was unhappy with the adopted Law on Education, accusing Ukraine of violating the language rights of ethnic Hungarians in the region.
