Zebra bites back
These amazing snaps show a feisty zebra biting back at a hungry crocodile. The brave zebra showed no fear as it showed the snapping crocodile who was boss.
As the zebra crossed the Mara River in the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya during the annual migration, some sly crocodiles decided to try to snare an unsuspecting herd member for dinner. But the killer crocs weren’t expecting the fearless zebra to fight back — and one got a shock when the zebra tried to take a chunk out of him.
The dramatic scene was caught by South African photographer Nelis Wolmarans.
Incredibly, the gutsy zebra managed to get away from the jaws of the three snapping crocs with only a broken leg, and it limped off to the other side of the river as the crocs were left hungry.
