Quote: "Today I met with representatives of our Ukrainian television, the Ukrainian Yedyni novyny television channel. With journalists, editors, producers. A very meaningful online meeting. The reason for the meeting is the anniversary of the marathon, gratitude to all who work in it.

But the content was much broader. We talked about strengthening our state and society's information sphere. This especially applies to those parts of the world where our diplomacy has not been represented for many decades for various reasons."

Details: The president emphasised that Ukraine should be as powerful as possible, both informationally and diplomatically.

"So that Ukraine's position is absolutely clear in all parts of the world. This is important in our work to ensure the liberation of the territory, the decisive actions that we are planning. The more people know about Ukraine, the more they understand Ukraine, the more they support Ukraine. And our victory comes closer," he said.

The president thanked the television channel’s employees, among other things, for "the constant search for new methods of reaching those who are currently in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine."

"It is very important that Russia does not manage to informationally ‘close off’ our people and our land in that part of Ukraine where the terrorists’ tricolour is still there. We have to do and we will do everything to increase the access of our people to valid information," Zelenskyy emphasised.
