Zelenskyy embarks on working visit to Canada, plans to speak in parliament, meet business and diaspora leaders

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy began a previously unannounced official visit to Canada on Sept. 22, arriving there with First Lady Olena Zelenska late on the previous night.
Video from news media released earlier showed the Ukrainian head of state and his wife being warmly greeted at the airport in Ottawa by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

The Ukrainian head of state later announced the program of his visit in a Twitter post.
According to it, Zelenskyy will hold talks Trudeau to discuss defense cooperation and the implementation of Zelenskyy’s Peace Formula for Ukraine.
Important bilateral documents are also scheduled to be signed that will strengthen economic ties between the two countries, Zelenskyy said.

The Ukrainian leader will then meet with the governor general of Canada, deliver a speech in Canada’s parliament in Ottawa, and talk to Canadian business representatives, opinion leaders, and Canada’s Ukrainian community in Toronto.
"I am certain this will be a meaningful visit. We’re grateful to Canada for its principled leadership and support," the Ukrainian president said.
