President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine expects "good news" from Ukraine’s partners regarding the provision of weapons and equipment necessary to defend against Russia as early as next week.

Quote: "Every day we are working to reinforce our defence. Above all, this means ensuring the supply of weapons. Every day, we draw closer to the day when our army will overwhelm the occupiers’ army technologically and in terms of its attack force.

Obviously, this to a large extent depends on our partners. On their preparedness to give Ukraine everything it needs to defend its freedom. And I’m expecting good news in this regard as early as next week."

Details: Zelenskyy once again urged the world to officially recognise Russia as a terrorist state and a state sponsor of terrorism.

"This is quite true. It truthfully reflects the daily reality that the occupiers have created in Ukraine and that they want to submit the rest of Europe to. This must be legally recognised," he stressed.
