Zelenskyy holds meeting of Staff of Supreme Commander-in-Chief

On Monday, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine held another meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.

Details: The meeting was attended by Valerii Zaluzhnyi, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; Oleksii Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council; commanders of units of the Armed Forces, security officials and ministers. Commanders who currently run operations on the front line joined the meeting via video conference.

The participants of the meeting listened to the reports of the commanders of the operational fronts regarding the situation on the front line; they also considered the action plan of the defence forces regarding the further liberation of the Ukrainian territories.

In addition, issues of ensuring security at the state border of Ukraine were discussed.

The issue of logistical support of the Ukrainian army, in particular the supply of the necessary weapons and ammunition, remains under the special control of the Headquarters.

The participants focused on getting Ukraine’s defence forces ready for the winter period. In this context, the issue of providing military personnel with sets of winter uniforms, shoes, and means of heating was considered.
