Zelenskyy imposes sanctions against 198 more Russian cultural and media figures

The list of sanctioned persons includes both Russian and Ukrainian citizens who have been actively engaged in spreading pro-Russian propaganda. Among them are well-known propagandists, TV presenters, artists, singers, and political scientists. These sanctions will be in effect of 10 years.

The list includes a former employee of pro-Russian oligarch Viktor Medvedchuk's TV channels, Diana Panchenko, who is currently shooting propaganda videos for Russian television in Ukraine’s occupied territories.

Also included in the sanctions list are Russian music critic and "journalist" Sergey Sosedov, and a number of Russian “military bloggers”, such as Semyon Pegov, Russian propagandist blogger Yuri Podolyaka, singer Yuri Loza, blogger and publicist Dmitry Puchkov (Goblin), general producer of Russian propaganda TV channel Zvezda Boris Yanovsky, TV presenter Yana Rudkovskaya, actor and TV presenter Boris Korchevnikov, sociologist Yevgeny Kopatko, political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko, Rodion Miroshnik, publicist and propagandist Vladimir Kornilov, and other employees of prominent Russian TV channels.

The list also includes four citizens of Belarus, including Belarusian propagandist Grigory Azarenok.

"This decree enters into force on the day of publication," the document reads.
