Zelenskyy stops in Lithuania in surprise visit, plans stops in Latvia and Estonia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy unexpectedly visited Vilnius to speak with Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda, the Prime Minister, and the Speaker of the Seimas, he announced on X (Twitter) on Jan. 10.

He will also meet with representatives from various political factions and the Ukrainian community.

The topics will cover a range of critical issues, including security matters, Ukraine's pursuit of integration into the European Union and NATO, collaboration in electronic warfare (REB) and drones, and the ongoing coordination of European support.

Expressing gratitude in a social media post, Zelenskyy said, "And, of course, our sincere gratitude for the unwavering support of Ukraine throughout the 10 years of the war Especially now, after the start of the full-scale invasion."

Zelenskyy plans to visit Latvia and Estonia after his time in Lithuania.

Earlier reports had Zelenskyy traveling to Switzerland next week to deliver a speech to the World Economic Forum in Davos.
