Zelenskyy visits Ukrainian troops training in UK

The message said that Zelenskyy observed the training of Ukrainian crews on UK Challenger-2 main battle tanks and other armored vehicles.

The president also spoke with soldiers and the base commander.

“Our military personnel are diligent and are in a rush to learn new skills as quickly as possible, in order to return home and use everything they have learned to liberate our territory,” Zelenskyy said.

“I see that here, there is everything required for this, including powerful tanks. Exactly what we need. And we are doing everything we can so that they could also appear on the battlefield ASAP.”

Zelenskyy also awarded tank crews, paratroopers, and mechanics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with military awards.

On Feb. 8, Zelenskyy made an official visit to London.

The Ukrainian president met with PM Rishi Sunak and addressed the Parliament, telling MPs that he will convey his gratitude to King Charles III, from all Ukrainians, for his support since even before he ascended the throne.
