Maryland reported zero COVID-19 deaths for the second day in a row Monday. It is a first in the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to state health officials and among the positive indicators Gov. Larry Hogan pointed out on Twitter. In another first, Monday marked the second-straight day with under 50 new coronavirus cases reported -- 40 new infections were reported Monday, which is down from 42 on Sunday.
